"Dear Friends and Clients, we have a new sales representative in the USA. Kevin Jin is located in the greater Los Angeles area, all his contact details are available in the contacts page.

"This month, we have some great equipment bargains for you to consider, including an ASML /300 priced to move, ASML /200, Nikon i10s and a low-priced Nikon S204B set up for 300 mm.

"We picked up a large quantity of new 200 mm wafer transport boxes last month, which we feel are a great purchasing opportunity for our clients.

FABSURPLUS.COM Announces In-House Enhanced Re-Manufacturing of Advanced Nikon Silicon Wafer Photolithography Step and Scan Equipment.
SDI-Fabsurplus announced a new independent service of Nikon Stepper refurbishment targeted at customers wishing to acquire remanufactured, fully-demonstrated, advanced lithography systems manufactured by Nikon Inc.
Stephen Howe, CEO of SDI-Fabsurplus, said, "We have completed the first stage of our project and successfully demonstrated lithography in-house at 0.4 um on a Nikon i7A stepper, designed only to achieve 0.5 um, providing enhanced capabilities on top of a state-of-the-art refurbishment.
Our success was achieved following months of careful preparation for the project, including setting up an advanced refurbishment centre and selecting the finest 3rd-party service engineers to carry out the work.

20-Sep-07. SDI's equipment database has been transferred to a secure server in Germany to improve site reliability and data storage security. Software improvements are continuing and will be implemented by our in-house software development team on a rolling basis through the following months.

20-Aug-07. Randall Copeland of SDI Oregon has completed a major sale of multiple items of 4 inch semiconductor manufacturing equipment from our client's site in Finland.

02-May-07. Stephen Howe of SDI Italy has completed installation of a refurbished KLA_Tencor AIT wafer inspection system at our European based client's 6 inch facility on time and within budget.

31-Dec-06. SDI Italy has completed construction of our Avezzano cleanroom and refurbishment facility, allowing fabsurplus.com to offer complete refurbishment of wafer inspection equipment and lithography equipment in a class 10 environment.

15-Nov-06. SDI Ireland has completed purchase of a large quantity of spares and equipment, and at the same time has opened a warehouse in the Dublin area.

01-Nov-06. SDI Group welcomes new sales associates Michael Fortune in Dublin Ireland and Randall Copeland in Beaverton, Oregon. Randall as West Coast Sales Manager at the Beaverton office replaces Chris Detrick who has left SDI. Good luck for your future career , Chris !

15-Sep-06. SDI is now representing Kairos and their refurbished Gasonics L3510 plasma ashing systems in the USA and Europe.

01-Sep-06. SDI Italy has expanded it's Avezzano facility to include a temperature controlled storage area. Work is proceeding to complete a class 100 cleanroom before December 2006

20-Aug-06. SDI Group has restructured it's operations in the USA and our headquarters have relocated to Austin texas , a dynamic city at the center of the used semiconductor equipment business.Our North American operations manager David Lee has been replaced by Mike Murehead. All at SDI wish David the very best in his future career.

26-Mar-06 SDI today completed an acquisition of a significant quantity of 6 and 8 inch production equipment which has been transferred to our modern Avezzano facility , near Rome, Italy.

01-Nov-05. SDI Group signs a contract for the purchase and installation of two implanters by our client based in the Shanghai area.

30-Aug-05. SDI Group opened it's new 800 mq warehouse facility for storage of equipment in a clean and modern environment. The new warehouse is located in Avezzano, near Rome, Italy.

31-Dec-03 SDI Group today completed the sale of all remaining 6 inch equipment assets from Motorola MOS 16, Edinburgh, to our Japanese client ( 300 + items of production and support equipment). This continues our recent stategy of pursuing the turnkey sale of entire production lines on behalf of our clients.
