New Director of Sales in Japan

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Hiroyuki Tsuge as Sales Director for Japan.
Dr Tsuge has an extensive experience in the Semiconductor industry as follows:-
He received his B.Sc; Physics in Elemental Particle from Kyoto University, his M.Sc. in Semiconductor Material Physics from Osaka University and his Doctorate in Semiconductor Material Physics from the Electrical Communication Research Lab of Tohoku University.
Following his studies, he served as General Manager of several laboratories at Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd., where he specialized in the metallurgy of steels used in the nuclear power plants of Tokyo Electric Power Company and Kansai Electric Power Company and for Oil & Drill pipes for Exxon Mobile and Shell. He developed processes for the manufacturing of ultra-clean gas piping for semiconductor applications. Subsequently, these manufacturing methods have been adopted by 75% of the industry today.
He served as the head of a 6 inch fab line and manufactured devices for LSI Imaging Process.
He served as the head of technology division of a semiconductor equipment manufacturer where etchers were manufacturered and sold to Mitsubishi Electrics and Fujitsu.
Ultimately, he worked at Ulvac as head of the Technology Division of the Semiconductor Manufacturing Business Department, where he developed a Natural Silicon Oxide layer remover called Raise, and delivered a high quantity of this product to Sansei 8 inch lines , and Served as Development Manager of the Enviro Asher product, delivered to LSI Logic and Motorola.
He finally worked in the Used Equipment Division and achieved the following successes:
-Mitsubishi Electrics, Saijo fab; 5 inch line (Quantity of 450 machines) Project
-Motorola, Mos 16 Project
-Fujitsu, Iwate 6inch Line Project
-Fuji Electric, Malaysia 6 inch Line Project

SDI-Fabsurplus has appointed Ms. Tomoko Koyama as a new sales representative in Japan. Tomoko has considerable past experience of used equipment sales gained whilst at Mediken, Japan, and she actively participated in the successful sale of Motorola MOS 16 to a Korean company. Recently, Ms. Koyama has been employed in the investment banking sector as an international secretary for Morgan Stanley. FABSURPLUS.COM Announces In-House Enhanced Re-Manufacturing of Advanced Nikon Silicon Wafer Photolithography Step and Scan Equipment.
SDI-Fabsurplus announced a new independent service of Nikon Stepper refurbishment targeted at customers wishing to acquire remanufactured, fully-demonstrated, advanced lithography systems manufactured by Nikon Inc.
Stephen Howe, CEO of SDI-Fabsurplus, said, "We have completed the first stage of our project and successfully demonstrated lithography in-house at 0.4 um on a Nikon i7A stepper, designed only to achieve 0.5 um, providing enhanced capabilities on top of a state-of-the-art refurbishment.
Our success was achieved following months of careful preparation for the project, including setting up an advanced refurbishment centre and selecting the finest 3rd-party service engineers to carry out the work.
